Description
Black leather and chrome plated tubular steel LC2 two-seater loveseat, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. An original 1980s licensed production piece.
The underside of the frame maintains the engraved Cassina serial number (LC 2 014315) as well as its Atelier International label.
The sofa carries historic New York City provenance, having originally been utilized in a notable Manhattan art gallery frequented by foundational contemporary artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol. In the later 90s, it moved with the gallery’s owner to Miami.

Condition
Very good vintage condition for age and use. Some minor wear to chrome; however, no rust or pitting. The leather is in near excellent condition and the foam/down still maintains its bounce and firmness.
