Each armchair features a concealed internal frame entirely upholstered in thick, forest green saddle-grade leather. The design shares structural and manufacturing parallels with Mario Bellini’s 1977 Cab 413 armchair for Cassina, utilizing leather as a skin stretched over an architectural skeleton. Like its European counterparts, this South American set features visible hand-stitching along the contoured seams, documenting the artisanal production techniques of late twentieth-century premium leather furniture.
The profile is defined by integrated armrests that cascade into a broad backrest, which incorporates a geometric cutout above the seat line.
